Abstract: Texas has dipped into the SEC to replace its offensive and defensive coordinators.

Texas has dipped into the SEC to replace its offensive and defensive coordinators.  Will Muschamp formerly of Auburn will be coordinating the defense for the Longhorns next fall.  On the offensive side Texas has lured Major Applewhite away from Alabama.  Applewhite was a quarterback for the longhorns.

Tommy Tuberville had already replaced one of his coordinators earlier this year when he fired offensive coordinator Al Borges.  Now he must scramble to replace Muschamp.  Signing day is fast approaching and players want to know who their coaches will be.  Nick Saban has the same issue at Alabama.  He needs to quickly find a replacement to reassure the recruits, although most of Alabama's commitments are solid.
