Abstract: The smackdown that Mississippi State put on the Tigers this past weekend has most certainly lead to an ALL CALL to the very bowels of the Tigers roster in search for a few good playmakers. Offensive coordinator Al Borges had already begun dipping into the depth of his offensive roster with the likes of the highly recruited freshman receivers Chris Slaughter and Tim Hawthorne.

Abstract: Auburn welcomes the Bulls of South Florida to Jordan-Hare this week. South Florida, once considered a cupcake opponent, has become of late giant slayers. The Bulls beat West Virginia last year and Louisville the year before. What makes those wins even more impressive is that they beat them on the road. The Bulls are a legitimate team and they have been picked by some to be contenders for the Big East Championship.

Abstract: The Auburn Tigers will start off the 2007 season by welcoming the Wildcats of Kansas State to Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Wildcats are not a cupcake team and will be doing their best to represent the Big XII conference. This is coach Ron Prince’s second year at Kansas State. This game will show the progress the team has made under his watch.
